CommerceOps Privacy Policy

CommerceOps is a commerce workflow training and simulation application.

1. Data Collection

CommerceOps does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer.

The App Store release is designed to operate primarily on-device. Practice state and simulated commerce data are stored locally on the user's device.

2. Local Application Data

CommerceOps may store local application state such as:

  • practice workflow progress
  • simulated orders
  • simulated inventory data
  • simulated refund state
  • application preferences

This information remains on the device and is not transmitted to the developer.

3. Camera and Location

CommerceOps may request access to device capabilities such as the camera or location for supported training workflows.

When used, this information is processed on-device for the relevant feature and is not transmitted to or stored by the developer.

4. Simulated Commerce and Payment Information

CommerceOps contains simulated shopping, checkout, payment, order, and refund workflows for training purposes.

Simulated commerce transactions are not real purchases.

The application does not collect, store, or transmit full payment card numbers or card security codes entered into simulated payment interfaces.

5. CommerceOps Pro Subscription

CommerceOps Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit.

Real subscription purchases, billing, payment processing, subscription status, cancellation, and related transaction information are handled by Apple.

The developer does not receive the user's full payment information.

Apple's own privacy policy applies to information processed by Apple.

CommerceOps may provide links to external services such as Apple subscription management, support resources, or policy pages.

Those external services are governed by their own privacy practices.

7. Analytics and Advertising

CommerceOps does not currently include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs in the App Store release.

8. Children's Privacy

CommerceOps is not specifically designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if CommerceOps functionality, data practices, or legal requirements change.
